Please look at the Facilities page to see the full list of our facilities. However, the resources and facilities that are of particular relevance to school and youth groups include:

- Hostel hydro-electric scheme: group tours available

- Whiteboards in two rooms

- Pool and table tennis
- Selection of outdoor and indoor games
- Small library of local reference books
- Local maps & information
- Free help-yourself tea & coffee for full board groups

- Lake access for launching small watercraft
- On-site coach and car parking
- Superb mix of habitats within walking distance
- Keswick Launch jetty (Ashness Jetty) near the hostel
- Speakers available: National Park Authority, National Trust, Mountain Rescue, or Forestry Commission
Classrooms/meeting rooms
The two dining rooms double up as classrooms with whiteboards and screens available for both. The large dining room can seat up to 65 (or more without tables). The small dining room can seat 25 (or more without tables). The lounges and games rooms can also be used as meetings rooms as required. If you don't have sole use of the hostel, please ensure that you have booked a meeting room in advance.
