Exclusive Hire of the Hostel for Weddings, Parties and Events

Have a Georgian mansion, a waterfall, and 17 acres to yourselves! The cost of hiring Derwentwater Independent Hostel will vary depending on the scale of the event you would like to organise, and on the exact dates chosen.   As a starting point, please contact us at reception@derwentwater.org, outlining the type and scale of event you would like to organise. In the meantime, here are our guide prices for exclusive hire per night (food and drink available at extra cost, depending on what you require):

Prices are per night, based on a minimum two night stay. Meals can be booked separately or you can self cater. We can also recommend local musicians and ceilidh bands. You can have sole use from midday on day of arrival to 10am on day of departure. If you would like to discuss exclusive use of the hostel then please email us at reception@derwentwater.org.
